Culpepper's future

According to this article, the New England Patriots are a possible landing spot for soon-to-be-former Miami Dolphin and Minnesota Viking quarterback Daunte Culpepper. The article said,

" Possible destinations for Culpepper according to NFL personnel men that speculated on the matter still include the Detroit Lions, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the New England Patriots and the St. Louis Rams."

I don't know how this trade would make sense, unless the Pats really want some quality backing for Tom Brady. but Matt Cassel is already aboard, so I don't see the need. But keep an eye on this possibility...

If I were to make an educated guess, Culpepper is heading for Jacksonville. It'd be a local move (which Culpepper wants) and Culpepper fits the Jaguars' bill exactly. Big, tough, strong. He would settle the Leftwich/Garrard battle once and for all, and he would also boost the Jaguars' chances of winning the division by 30%.

Adam Schefter is right more then 70% of the time so it's a possibility but I think he'll probably end up in Atlanta or Jacksonville.
